A nice little stop for fried fish, french fries and hamburgers. Great as a pit stop with large servings. Only downside is it feels expensive for combos, so I'd recommend sharing fries and buying your meats separately.

Had to stop for some fried seafood i was told while in Shediac...based on reviews elsewhere this looked to be the spot
Showed up around lunch wasn't too busy at all, usually an odd sign but hey weather was cooler
Ordered the fried clams and fries, all homemade which was nice - but even at the special price a little light on the clams - but for the few I had they were tasty shame the order wasn't double like 12 or so,,,, the only other size was a $30 order seemed odd not to have a larger portion but not family size
I did notice they had pkg tarter sauce ?? Why do seafood shops out here not make an authentic tasty tarter sauce, it's the little things people remember for the extra few hours a week to make it from a good recipe... baffles me
I'll try next door IF I ever get back to town -

We didn't like this place. It's a small town kind of shop and that is pretty much a drive in. The cashier was not nice at all and the food wasn't that great. We got the large size lobster roll and it was okay, tasted like the one from mcdonalds which isn't much of a step up. Based on the rave reviews, I thought it would be amazing and it as in lobster town! We had the fried clams and it was a very sad plate. Overall way too oily and the food was terrible after the first few bites.
Overall I felt like it would have been better if we sticked to a bigger restaurant. We will probably won't come back! -

Once again Golden Fry did not disappoint!! Not sure about the reviewer who said they are only French but that is not accurate. They speak English as well here. Food was excellent. Prices are very fair! Highly recommend a visit to Golden Fry. You will not be disappointed.

Fried clams, fish & chips, lobster roll and poutine.
Fish & chips are not similar to what you will in Toronto. Different batter (corn dog-like).
Quite expensive too!
Taste is ok.
